Energy: from Burning to Harvesting

Energy, Spanish Pavilion, Venice Biennale

The project, commissioned for Internalities, the Spanish Pavilion at the 2025 Venice Biennale by curators Roi Salgueiro and Manuel Bouzas and developed in collaboration with photographer Luis Díaz Díaz, envisions the Eume River as a model for an alternative energy ecosystem. It proposes a local and diversified energy capture strategy based on the natural resources available: water, wind, and sun, within energy communities. It explores alternative models at various scales for capturing, storing, and transporting renewable energy in synergy with nature and local communities.
