Competition for the transformation of three agricultural heritage buildings for a public cultural programme. The point of departure of our proposal is the comprehension of the buildings as an ensemble, valuing not only the importance of the buildings themselves, but also the open spaces between them, connecting them to the network of public spaces of Troinex. The spatial configuration of the main farm and the small farm follows a common principle of organisation by bays determined by the rows of posts of the existing structure, aligned perpendicular to the longitudinal facades. The different programs are distributed in the three buildings according to the spatial characteristics of each structure: public reception and large cultural spaces in the main farm, library in the medium farm which can operate with independent access and schedules and the small annex is renovated to include workshop spaces, also with independent access and direct relationship with the square.
